Where can I find parking?
A metered car park can be found at the rear of the shop – the rates for this are:
1hr – free
2hr – 50p
3hr – 80p
There are other car parks scattered around the village all within walking distance with the same pricing.
What sizes do you have in stock?
Our Mother of the Bride/Groom outfits range from a UK size 8-26, with a bespoke range of designs available to size 36.
Our prom and evening wear outfits range from a UK 6-20
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we offer 1:1 specialised service appointments for 1 hour per customer. Our expert consultants will help you pick out and try as many outfits as needed in the time and help to dress you and complete your look with hats, hatinators, fascinators , shoes and bags. We even have a small selection of jewellery that we can advise on to complete your look!
Appointments are chargeable at just £20 which is refundable off any purchase or can be transferred to a 2nd appointment within 2 weeks if needed. We just need 48 hours notice by phone for any cancellations. All bookings must be confirmed by phone or in person. If you need assistance with this for any reason please get in touch and we can help accommodate you.
Can I bring guests with me to my appointment?
Yes! Everyone needs their support team and we welcome friends and family to you appointment. However remember too many people can mean too many opinions. We always recommend 2-3 guests maximum with each customer. This will give you the space in the show room and not too many people with a variation of opinions. Remember the only person who needs to love the outfit is you!
Are your outfits/hats available for hire?
Our outfits are available to buy only. This allows us to keep up to date with the latest fashions in occasion-wear, and we offer a bespoke hat service, ensuring that each outfit is special, and unique to your Lady G outfit.
How much do you charge for your outfits?
Our Mother of the Bride/Groom outfits range from approximately £200-£950
Our Prom and Evening wear outfits range from approx. £150-£700
Prices for our bespoke hat service can range from approx. £90-£300
Can I take photographs when trying on your outfits?
Due to designer copyright, we cannot allow customers to photograph the outfits while trying them on in-store, and have a strict no-photography policy.
However, video-calling services may briefly be used (such as Facetime), and we also offer a 24-hour approval service (this allows customers to take items home for up to 24 hours before making the decision on whether to buy).
Do you do alterations in-house?
We do not offer an alteration service in-store, but can refer customers on to several trusted alteration specialists in locations around Scotland.
Can your outfits be ordered in?
The vast majority of our outfits are sold as seen, as each season’s outfits are ordered in advance – this allows you to take the outfit home on the day that you find it.
Our bespoke hat service allows you to order a hat to be made to your exact specifications when you buy an outfit with us. From order time to completion, this usually takes around 6-8 weeks.
What is your returns policy?
We do not offer exchanges or refunds on our items, unless they are found not to comply with the Sales of Goods Act. Before leaving the premises, our outfits and accessories are checked for any flaws, ensuring that we and our customers are satisfied, and information on our policies and care of the items is included along with each outfit and hat that we sell.
Proof of purchase is required when returning any items – this does not affect your statutory rights.
